This is the worst time for Ummah. They are being humiliated everywhere. Muslim society has once again returned back to the same cultural disorder and evils which were prevalent during the age of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had dedicated his life to erase these very evils and disorders from the face of the society. Sulah e Hudibiya (Agreement of Hudibiya) is a rarest of the rare examples for them who accuse Islam of being spread under the shadow of sword and for them who prefer war to agreement. When Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was going to Medina after Hudaibiya, Surah ‘Fatah’ was descended and God the Almighty declared “Agreement of Hudaibiya” as a ‘land sliding victory’. In fact all the Islamic wars were fought to get rid of cultural and social evils. These wars were fought to establish peace. Had it not been so there would have been nothing but blood in the streets of Mecca for the revenge of all the torture and humiliations inflicted on Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and Saha’aba Keram (rta).-- Perwez Suhaib Ahmad(Translated from Urdu by Arman Neyazi NewAgeIslam.com)
